Your drawing overrides our defaults
The standards on these pages are what we apply when your 2D drawing or model annotations are silent. Any dimensional callout, GD&T frame, thread spec, weld symbol, or surface-finish symbol on your drawing takes precedence over the defaults listed here.
Requirements tighter than the published precision limits are reviewed by our engineers per part — geometry, material grade, and tool access all matter. Flag critical features on your drawing and we will quote them explicitly.
Standards by Process
CNC Machining
Default tolerances, finish expectations, and inspection options applied to CNC milled, turned, Swiss-lathe, and wire-EDM parts when your drawing does not specify otherwise.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Default linear and angular tolerances, thickness limits, finish standards, and weld certifications applied to laser-cut, bent, stamped, and welded sheet metal parts.
Injection Molding
Default dimensional tolerances, SPI surface finishes, tooling classes, and DFM parameters applied to injection molded parts and mold builds.
